Location is a very important brand attribute for most wine brands. Hot summer days followed by cool nights results in grape sugar production that gives master vintners an advantage in their quest to create distinctive, high-quality wine.

Soils types also contribute to regional differences in taste.

These mostly static maps were custom made, utilizing topographic and geological data from mostly government sources, publicly available temperature and climate data, and information provided by the client vineyards.

The map sets were then incorporated into iPad presentations by KnowledgeSource to support marketing initiatives by the various brands.
